Day 1
Colombo
Met at the airport, then the capital at golden hour — Galle Face Green, the Gangaramaya temple on Beira Lake, Independence Square and the Lotus Tower.

Day 2
Colombo to Kandy
North through the countryside to a spice garden and gem museum, then the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Kandy Lake and the hilltop viewpoint.

Day 3
Dambulla & Sigiriya
A day in the Cultural Triangle. The UNESCO-listed cave shrines at Dambulla, with the Sigiriya rock fortress or a Minneriya jeep safari to add on.

Day 4
Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Into the tea hills past Ramboda Falls, a working plantation and a factory tasting, then Gregory Lake and the colonial streets at 1,868 m.

Nuwara Eliya
A slow day in the cool air — the Seetha Amman temple, Hakgala's gardens and a strawberry farm, with the evening at leisure.

Ella to Mirissa
The Nanu Oya to Ella train, one of the world's great rail journeys, then Nine Arch Bridge, Little Adam's Peak and Ravana Falls before the coast.

Mirissa
Golden sand and Coconut Tree Hill on the south coast, with whale watching offshore or the Galle Dutch Fort if you want more from the day.

Day 8
Homeward
Breakfast by the sea, then the expressway back to Colombo airport for your flight.
